A popular debate topic in todays world is weather or not teachers should be allowed to open/concealed carry during school. In short my answer is yes, I believe this would be a good idea but with stipulations of course. I think that ex-milliary teachers and teachers who allready have a concealed carry permit should be allowed to bring their side arm if they would want to, I also think that if they do bring THEIR gun it should stay with THEM at all times and never leaving the holster unless absolutely needed.
I also believe there should be a limit on which teachers would be allowed to partake in this, for example they have to show proof of paper work for both the weapon and permit and they should be evaluated on how they react in high stress situations. The last things we want is more risk of someone shooting up a school because every teacher is carrying a gun. If this were put into place the teachers would be kept secreat so the students cannot get ahold of the weapons or target certain teachers and I think it should only be offered to ex-millitary because they would react appropately in a crisis situation and take out the threat in a timely manner because they have training.

I believe it's an insane idea that teachers have to carry firearms to protect students. If we really have to go as far as having teachers carry firearms to protect students, they should definately need far more training and paperwork than a typical gun owner.
I think teachers withe the proper paper work should be allowed to carry a gun at school. The teachers who do decide to carry guns should a have background check. I think that if the teacher has the right training or experience than they should act accordingly in escalated situations.
I think that teachers should be armed in school but it depends on the teacher of course. Obviously we would need backround checks and what not and I think that every kid in shcool would be safer if a teacher has a weapon. For some teachers it could be a bad idea some might not rise to the occasion when the time is needed and others could do more harm than good so there is always little factors to keep track of.

I would also want my teacher to have a gun if there was a school shooter or anything like that instead of not having anything.

I think that teachers with the right training would react very appropriately with their firearms. I also believe that students shouldn't know of the armed teacher for several reasons. I believe that the armed teacher would act appropriately if they were to also take monthly training for these rare scenarios in which a threat to the school would happen.

I believe that teachers should indeed be allowed to conceal carry firearms. I think that the teacher who does conceal carry should have extensive background checks along with training and sociological test. But I do see this being a great solution to school threats and would likely lower the chances of a possible school shooter.
