We've all heard of Area 51 and how it supposedly the location where the US government was hiding top secret objects. One widely thought suspicion was that it was hiding aliens from a thought to have been UFO crash in the middle of the 20th century. After reading the link I will post below do you guys think that the government is telling the truth about not housing spaceships and aliens or do you think they are just trying to get the American people to stop asking about what is in there? Also, do you think there is more to Area 51 than the CIA is telling the press?

I dont think they have released everything, but I think that is a good thing. I think that there are some things in Area 51 that the CIA should not tell the public.
This is cray cray. Is it actually real though? Hmmmm... weird. But I think that there is probably another one out there.
Russia, China, Middle East countries, and North Korea probably all have secret facilities like Area 51.
If they did that, then the other countries would find out too, and most likely our government is keeping it a secret so we stay safe. Even if they did tell us what was in there it would just be on the news for a while then die down. I'm guessing Nuclear weapons are made there. Every large country has nukes just in case one of us tries to use one.
If they are keeping stuff from us, what do you think would happen if some kind of information slipped out and was broadcasted worldwide.
Other countries wouldn't like us because it would probably have something to do with nuclear weapons.
I am assuming they are lying about it and not telling the truth so they can hide it. Knowing the CIA they wouldn't be able to come out and tell the truth anyways.
They are telling us that it is for testing spy planes and other military equipment. There could be nuclear weapons in there too, but they would never tell us if there was.
I don't personally think there is a think as aliens and such. Denying anything about Area 51 for years sets suspicion for the American public. It's probably more than just a test base for that plane. But it might be good there is a little bit of secret to the American public, if we disclosed everything the enemy could get information at well. And that could be used against us.
The enemy most likely has the same things going on as we do.
