Area 51: a normal flight testing facility, or the center of alien activities on Earth? Many people speculate that Area 51 is home to the government's biggest secrets in alien life and technology. But where did these theories come from? And most importantly, is the government hiding aliens in Area 51.
One of the leading causes of suspicion of the mysterious facility comes from frequent UFO sightings in the area. Since it is officially a flight testing facility, many types of specialized aircraft are supposedly developed and tested in the surrounding area. In the 1960’s in the Vietnam War, foreign aircraft were obtained, reverse engineered, and flown to further our understanding of the enemy’s capabilities. Many conspiracies claim that the government uses this same method to combine alien technology with our own to create deadly aerial weapons for war. The avid secrecy that the government has for this facility only fans the flames further for wild theories.
The theories became even more reliable to some people when in the 1980’s, a man who had worked at Area 51 claimed that the facility was being used to experiment with alien aircraft. Not much has been proven from this claim, but the point still remains that there have been many odd happenings and extreme government secrecy going on at Area 51. The UFO sightings of aircraft moving at extreme speeds seem to be beyond human capabilities, but the government could be capable of things beyond our human understanding that we are yet to discover.

I feel as though the goverment hides too much from the public. Though some have stated that it is because we will be afraid and that we are better off not knowing, I don't agree. I feel like I have the right, as a citizen of the United States, to know exactly what the goverment is doing with our taxes, whether it is for military or a secret alien base.
Personally, I believe that the UFO sightings seem to be fake. I think that the government isn't hiding at area 51 but when a rumor sparked about it, it grew. Overall, yes I think there is other life than humans on earth, but I don't think that their are "Aliens" especially walking around earth at Area 51.
I don't think Area 51 has aliens inside of it and the government is hiding them from the public. I do think there is a possibility of unidentified aircraft sightings but I don't think they are alien spaceships. I think Area 51 is just a test facility for new technology the government is producing.
Part of me wants to believe that the UFO sightings are real, but the other part thinks that there are simple explanations for some of the as well. I do think that there is a chance that aliens are real, but I don't think the goverment is hiding them from us. It could be possible that the government is hiding something else at Area 51 though.
I don't think that the government is hiding aliens at Area 51. I do believe there could have been unidentified flying object sightings there, but I don't think they are interecting with aliens at a high level. I think the government is trying to keep the place secret so they can test equipment better.
I do think that there is a chance that the only reason that the government is keeping Area 51 such a secret is for military purposes and to keep new equipment secretive, but there is always a chance that it could be aliens.
I personally think that the UFO sightings are true, I think they are more made up to get the media's attention and are made up theories. Because of how secure Area 51 is we really don't know much about it, so I think the government is trying to hide something from us because if they weren't then why would it be so secure, but I really don't think there are UFOs and other weird space stuff going on at Area 51.
I don't think that UFO sightings are entirely accurate, and I believe that they're based on conspiracy theories rather than actual facts. There isn't much we know about Area 51, and with it being so secretive there could very well be something there the government doesn't want us to see, but I personally do not think there are any aliens there.
I don't think we can fully trust the UFO sightings because I think people like to buy into conspiracies and see whatever they want to see. I think that with how locked down Area 51 is, there could potentially be something the government is hiding there, and it very well could be alien activity and objects.
