Recently, Apple has said that they will be releasing some new iPhones. However, they are getting reviews that say the 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch iPhones that were released in 2014 are too big and can't be used with one hand or fit into pockets. These reviews also say they prefer the smaller iPhones released in 2012 and 2013. However, most of these phones have been discontinued. All but the iPhone 5s, but Apple says they look to discontinue that as well when they come out with these new iPhones in 2016. Typically, when they release new phones, they reduce the prices of the previous two phones and discontinue the three year old iPhone.
These new phones are the iPhone 7, the iPhone 7 Plus, and a smaller iPhone 7 mini! Apple says that to meet the customers demands, they made a 4 inch iPhone 7 mini for those who like the smaller phones. They will mass produce this new, smaller phone for the first half of 2016. The new mini iPhone 7 probably won't have all of the bigger features, like 3D touch, but it will still have the latest updated chip for iOS. Also, this small iPhone is going to be cased in metal. In 2013, Apple tried an experiment where they encased the iPhone 5C in plastic, but this never really took off with the public.

Well, I don't have an iPhone, but I think I'd like the smaller iPhones better so I could use them with one hand and be able to fit it in my pocket. Plus, in my own opinion, I think the big iPhones look ridiculous to carry around and use. If I was going to get the iPhone 7 mini, I'd be pretty excited. With all of the bigger iPhones coming out and the smaller ones being discontinued, I'd probably be disappointed. However, with this new iPhone, I could have the new updates, and a smaller phone! I think this is very smart on Apple's part.

I think Apple is just scamming people for their money, making small update but increasing the price quite significantly on them. It is nice that they're making a smaller phone instead of the ridiculous size that they are now.
I honestly dont care how big or how small the I Phones are all that should matter is if the phone is good or if it works well for you.
I think that people are just to picky about these things but to me its to small.
I would just want a regular Iphone so probably the Iphone 6 or Iphone 7.
You make a good point about the size not mattering as long as the phone works really well. Has our world come to a point where we are just being too picky? Some might say so, including you. That is a good point as well.
I prefer the smaller iphones because they fit in my pocket and I can use one hand. I think the iphone 7 mini is a good idea so that they can meet everyones need, but the fact that it doesn't have all the same effects at the iphone 7 or 7 plus is a drawback.
I agree with you! The smaller iPhones are easier to fit in your hands and pocket. The iPhone 7 mini is a great idea as well. Trying to meet everyone's needs is a very smart marketing move by Apple.
I prefer mine a little bit small so it's easier to keep in my pocket. But it's also nice to have a bigger screen. I think the iPhone mini is great idea.
I agree with you! The iPhone 7 mini is a great idea on Apple's part. It's good to have a phone that fits in places easily, but bigger screens can be easier to see off of.
Personally I like the bigger screens but I also like the small because it fits in pockets and bags better. I personally would rather have an android over an apple.
I see your point! The bigger screens are easier to see off of but the smaller ones are easier to use in daily life and to fit into pockets or purses!
