Antibiotic resistance can happen naturally. However, this is being accelerated because of people misusing this. Multiple things such as pneumonia and tuberculosis are becoming much harder to treat. These antibiotics are becoming less effective and could possibly stop working which would not be good, to say the least. I think that this would be a very bad thing because if these antibiotics stopped working then we wouldn't be able to treat certain things. I think that this would also be bad because if you wanted to treat a certain thing then you might need to use more of the antibiotic in order for it to actually work.
I think that ways that you could prevent these antibiotics from becoming less effective are only using them if a doctor approves them. In the future, this could be a big problem because if you were really sick but couldn't be cured of an antibiotic then it could be life-threatening. These antibiotics are medicines that help fight away bacteria. This antibiotic resistance can lead to longer hospital stays and a bigger hospital bill for the patient to pay. the bacteria that lives in you can become resistant to something that you take. If you were to take it enough times it could become completely immune to it. This is why taking prescripted drugs from your doctor should be a necessity.
What do you think are some other things that we could do to stop the bacteria from becoming resistant?
Do you ever feel like your resistant to something; for example like these antibiotics are becoming for us?

Good topic choice and well done overall Jacob! I do push for three paragraphs so perhaps a tad brief in the summary.
I think antiboitics are becoming less effective because they get prescribed a lot and are a typical source of medicine. I think if the sickness is minor that we should try to let our bodies fight the sickness of itself. If the sickness is more severe then we should get antibiotics or other medicines.
I agree, the body defends most stuff.
I think antibiotics are becoming less and less effective. I think it’s just better to let our bodys fight the bacteria off themselves. Taking antibiotics so much has made our bodys immune to the bacteria. I’m rarely ever sick and I don’t take antibiotics.
I agree it can be too much at times.
I believe that antibiotics are definitely becoming less and less effective. The more doctors prescribe antibiotics, the more resistant the medicine becomes. If we let our immune systems do the thing that they are supposed to do instead of always running to antibiotics or keeping away from things that could make us sick, our world would be much better off. It has been proven with some medicines that your body can become immune to them and they have had to give stronger doses.
I agree, there have been multiple occasions where people need to take more of something in order for it to work.
One way to try to slow down this issue with antibiotics would be to use them sparingly. I strongly believe the more we let our immune system fight bacteria, the healthier and better off we will be in the long run. Overusing antibiotics/ using antibiotics that you don't NEED is beneficial short term but has a negative impact on your body long term. I rarely take antibiotics because I never get sick.
I agree, our immune system can prevent a lot of this.
I think antibiotics are becoming less effective for sure due to the bacteria that is going though our systems and we are becoming prone to the bacteria because our bodies have to fight some common viruses off naturally. It's better to get your body prone to the virus instead of getting antibiotics to help it because your body becomes immune to the virus and it will eventually strengthen your immune sysstem.
