For the past 9 years there have been 625,346 abortions in the united states. That is 69,482 abortions per year. I belive that abortions are wrong. The baby is considered alive at conception, witch is 3-5 days after the egg is fertilized.
Many people in the US today think that it is ok for an abortion to happen up to 25 weeks. The baby is half way to term at this point in the pregnancy. This is when the baby is moving in the womb. I think this is outrageous because the baby has a heart beat as detectable as early as 9 weeks of age. By 25 weeks they are growing hair and are developing the brain, digestive system, and lungs.
In conclusion, at any point in development an abortion takes the like of a living human being. This goes to show that abortion in not ok unless it is medically necessary for the mother.

This is a good learning experience for you as a freshmen. Your topic is fine but your summary is quite brief and needs to include more of your thoughts and opinions. You also didn't reply to any student comments which is worth 30 points. Of course, you are on vacations which is a good excuse. However, knowing that you were going on vacation this week, you really should have volunteered to be a forum post leader in the prior nine weeks.

I think abortion is ok depending on the experience of the women. I think if there is a good reason for the women to not want to carry a baby for nine months then they should be able to decide that. It's their body and should be their chose. Again, if it's a good reason.
Personally I think that abortions depend on the situation. On one side, you are taking an innocent baby's life. On the other side, the parents could not be ready. This can be financially ready, meaning that they can't afford to feed them, or that they don't have enough time to take care of it.
I think that abortion is okay at different circumstances and till a certain month of pregnancy. I would not like to get a child from a person who raped me. It should be everyone’s choice to get an abortion or not
I feel that abortions are not ok at all. There are certain circumstances such as rape or mother death. Iowa should ban abortion outside of these circumstances because killing children just because you could not take care of it is ridiculous especially when you could put it up for adoption.
I don't think that abortions should be legal unless something bad might happen suh as the mom dying from having the baby. I think that if the person has the kid they should have to keep it they shouldn't be able to just abort it and then do it all over again from the people that have had multiple abortions.
I think abortions are not the right thing to do, unless the mom will be majorly hurt or killed from the baby. I can understand why some people may want to get an abortion, but I do not think it should be done without a medical reason.
I think that abortion is wrong. Abortion is like killing a kid. It wasn’t the child’s choice to be made. I understand somebody not wanting to keep their kid. They could give it up for adoption instead. I think that it is wrong.
I don't think abortions are bad to an extent. I feel like if you get pregnant because you aren't using protection, and you want to have an abortion, thats bad. But let's say you are on birth control or some other type of protection and you get pregnant, than it shouldn't be an issue, but only if you are a minor. I especially believe that if you are raped or in any situation like that, than abortion is okay.
I think its your choice honestly I don't really care. And I don't think it should be banied because its their choice but maybe look at the other opptions first
