Apple has came up with multiple unique designs over the years, but they are thinking about coming back with a similar design to a past design.
The upcoming iPhone 7s will have a similar design to the iPhone 4 and 4s with a few changes. What makes their 7s design so similar to the 4 and 4s is the front and back glass enclosures with the aluminum edges. Some changes from the past designs would be obviously size, curved edges, and of course the Touch ID. There may be more changes that are yet to be released, but these ideas of theirs are yet to be approved and confirmed.
Apple is trying to utilize a type of glass that withstands everyday abuse of a standard iPhone for this upcoming iPhone.

I think that it is good to go back to the old designs because people will be familiar with it and more willing to purchase it. I think that having the phones come in more colors would be cool and a way to have even stronger glass on the phone.
I think coming up with new designs would be best because people get tired of designs real fast. Pretty soon apple is going to run out ideas and they have to go back to old designs and just add things like they are now.
Yeah I also believe that people are getting tired of the same designs, like when the iPhone 6 came out there was a lot of people that gained interest because of the new design.
I think coming up with new designs would make more people interested in the iPhone 7 but also for the people who like iPhone 4's would maybe give the iphone 7 a chance. I'm not sure i would look around to see what other phone company's are looking at and looking into and go from there.
Yes I think that if they come up with new designs for each iPhone they will draw the customers' attention.
I think that Apple needs to improve the glass that they use when making their phones. It seems like an Apple phone will crack if you ever drop it, but galaxies or other phones don't break nearly as often. I am not a fan of Apple because it's such a generic phone and I like something different.
I agree that they need to improve their glass that they use to make the phone. The article also stated that they were trying to find a type of glass that wouldn't crack as easily like the galaxies and others.
No I truly don't think it is a good idea just because everybody drops their phone at sometime and as of right now all we have to worry about it the front screen cracking, but if they go back to a glass back then there is also the potential of cracking that too. I would make it so that, like it has shown it was going to do in the past but has not yet done, let you be able to swipe down on the screen and then a laser keyboard will appear on your table, or wherever you are sitting.
Yes I agree that it is at a greater risk of being damaged with an all glass body. It would be cool to have the laser keyboard that would appear on your table like you said.
