1. If you can't blog because your computer/internet is down, wait until another day. If it is on Sunday, type it on word, print it out or email it to me, and then have a note from your parents saying that the internet was down. You could also write it if you computer is completely down. Don't wait until Sunday so this issue is not such a big deal!! 2. There may be some free nights. 3. Daily summaries should be about two paragraphs. 4. Your two big blog entries should be a good effort on your behalf. I do not put length limits on these. 5. The length of you message board posts should be at least a sentence. 6. If your computer does not let you access my website, be sure to use your school time wisely!! 7. If you don't know where to go, look around first. Then ask people(or myself) for help in the chat room or message board. 8. To join the US History group, go to the US History link at the top of my website. Once on that page, you will see an option to join that group at the top of the page. I will then have to accept you. 9. Megan S.--You should now be good to log in as I unbanned you from last year. 10. Apparently you do need a real email to sign up. 11. The point of the 5 message board post is threefold. First, it gets students to my website which will help them in the long run. Second, the posts get students to share thoughts and opinions on various topics and respond to other people's as well. Third, it allows me to discuss things with students outside of the classroom, expanding learning opportunities. 12. You sign out by simply clicking on the "sign out" option underneath your name on the top right of the website. 13. As far as having huge pictures show up on your blog after you insert them, just be sure to select small pictures. Outside of that, I am not sure. You could probably shrink them using a picture editing program. 14. You need at least two pictures or one embedded video for every big blog entry. No pics/video are needed for your daily reflective blogs. 15. Your daily reflective blogs should be two paragraphs in length. The focus should be on what you learned. 16. If you are grounded from the computer, you will have to write your blog and use papers/magazines to get info. You will need a parent note confirming that you can't use the computer.
