Ok this is weird. According to some scientist, animals can have humanlike emotions and animal suicides are an example of it. After beached whales where found on a New Zealand beach, people say that one commited suicide because it was sick and the others followed. Other examples of "animal suicide" are dogs and ducks drowning themselves, cows walking off cliffs and naked-mole rats leaving the colony to die because of a communicable disease.

I don't think that animals commit suicide. I think that animals if they are about to die, they will stop fighting the pain and pass away.
I guess this could be real. Some of it makes sense. Especially if you had a sickness that would effect the whole colony or your fellow species.
i didn't think animals knew how to do stuff like that? it's kinda really weird though!

Maybe it happens because the animals are tired of getting eaten and decided to take the "easy" way out.
OMGOSH that is a little bit extreme for animals ... i did not see that coming! Animals committing suicide... WHAT are they upset or something?
This is very strange. I've only heard of these things in books with dogs. I don't think this could be proven, maybe an educational guess but defenitely not a fact.
animal suicide? This is so crazy! I didnt even think animals were smart enough to even think about killing themselves when they have a disease so they wont give it to the other animals. Thats actually kinda smart!
I've never heard of anything like this. I'm not really sure what to think about it. It's kinda just a little bit strange.
