Kia, a puppy in Kansas was found in a towed car in the compound while an employee was marking cars for auction. Kia was taken to the city's animal shelter. No one knows how Kia survived, but it is believed that she picked through a leftover McDonald's, although employees didn't see any sign of water. Here is a video of the newscast.
I can't believe that the dog survived a month without water and little food to survive on. Yet people still go crazy when it happens in a parking lot with a window open.

I am amazed that the puppy survived and I hope its new owner is very loving and takes good care of it!!! It makes me super sad to think of anything like that happening to any animal, it just makes me want to go hug my dogs!
I think people are really desensitized to seeing strays because that's normal and how things are but when they see a dog who should have an owner to take care of them starve they start to care.
