Ex-guard Alchie Paray of the Philippines took dozens hostage in his old workplace. He stated that the mall was abusive and corrupt. He later freed the hostages but instead of being arrested immediately the police let him speak. There was in between 60 and 70 hostages, all of which got out unharmed. Some of his former co-workers even offered to resign to end the hostage crisis. Some even agreeing with Paray with the workplace comments.

Just because he wasn’t happy with the mall does not give him the right and retaliate against other people. I don't think it matter what was really happening because there's no reason why he should take hostages and or harm people.
This man had no reason to take any of these people hostage. If he was unhappy with the way he was treated on the job. There are easyer, and more legal ways of getting matters like those he tallked about, like going to mangement or even have a report filed against the mall.
If I were held hostage, I would be very scared, obviously the people from his previous workplace were very bad to him, I wonder what would cause someone to do this though, what had they done to cause him to take dozens of hostages. I’m very glad they were all unharmed and that the police let him speak.

that is crazy, he must have had a point because people were saying to drop the charges and agreeing with him. i think that the company should be looked into to see if what he is saying is true because some people might need to be fired if they are.
I would probably try to get people out of the mall if possible and inform the police as fast as possible. I think he should be put into prison for life cause we don't need terrible people like this released back into the public since they could go out and do it again.
I think that Alchie paray is a bad person. Although he is a bad man, I am glad that the hostages are all out and unharmed and safe. I think that this man is psychotic and should be put in prison sentenced to a lifetime in there.
This is a bad thing that happend. I would try to get the ex gaurd to change his thought and bribe him so he lets him go then he would go to jail so he would not get the bribe. I think he should be charged with atempeted murder and he should go to jail for a long time.
I wouldnt know what to do i would probably try and help people that are in the mall get out. In this situatuion i honeslty dont know how i would act. I would be scared for sure and most likely try and get the people that our hostage out and try and calm the man down until police arrived
This would be a very scary event if you were there. I would probably try to calm the ex-guard down so that he wouldn't do anything stupid to hurt someone. I think even though he did this and din't hurt any that he had a fair chance to explain himself.
