How would you feel if you took your pet to the vet and they came back seeming even more damaged than before. During September, in Beaverton, Oregon, Andres Figueroa brought his dachshund puppy to the vet for a checkup. Bleu, the puppy had sustained a leg injury during the summer. He had the checkup at a clinic right outside of Portland, Oregon. When Andres cam back later that day the veterinarian had said, that Bleu tried to nip at him. Dr. Koller is the veterinarian and later did they find out what he did. Dr. Koller had grabbed the puppy by his mouth and torso so violently that the poor puppy defecated on the table. The vet then lifted him by the mouth until he was unconscious. Mr. Figueroa had taken Bleu and left; the puppy had curled up in his lap breathing shallowly. Later, the next day, Bleu had to be put down due to fluid filling his lungs.
But this wasn’t just the only case that has been reported. There have many complaints against, Dr. Koller. Mr. Koller had practiced medicine in California and Oregon off and on for 30 years. He has faced a criminal charge of animal cruelty three years after he received his license. Other customers had interviews admitting that they were concerned. Dr. Koller, had been seen beating a German Shepherd, then later they found the dog dead. There has been a case where he has frightened a puppy so bad that he urinated on the exam table. There had many more cases of animal abuse and Mr. Koller being extremely rude in general. Daniel Koller, who is 72, is facing two felony counts, first-degree aggravated animal abuse and first-degree animal abuse. Dr. Koller had to attend a court hearing in Hillsboro, Oregon last month and was then soon arrested after that.

- Should he have had a more severe punishment after his first abuse encounter?
I think he should have, he had caused a animal to die after coming in for a checkup. He should have had some jail time before he went back to work.
- Do you think he should have had his license taken away and not have gotten it back?
Yes, if he caused an animal to die and he was scaring them because they were whining. He should have had it taken away after the first cause of death.

Yes, the animal didn't do anything bad enough to get beat by his own vet. They shouldn't give his license back, this is just giving him another chance to beat more animals. I agree, he should have gotten it taken away right away instead of as late as he did.
yes because he shouldn't be around animals if he has a record of it... i think that prison and fines should be put in place for anyone that harms animal just like when a human interacts with another they get charged with assault. he should never be able to be around animals untill proven wrong.
bump
I think he did not need more punishment. In my opinion Mr. Koller needs to get reeducated because his age tells me that he very likely got taught wrong or oldschool. I think if it is happening again he should lose his licence or retire because he should do it anyways.
1. Yes, I believe that John Wick should have been dispatched to his house to end him and anyone accociated with his business.
2. Yes, a vet that destroys the very thing his trying to save shouldn't be in that line of work
hearing this story makes me so mad, I have a small chihuhua named chocolate and if I knew that my dog is being treated like, I would hate. He should have his licence revoked and sent to jail, in fact, he should never touch an animal again.
do I he should have lost his license taken away or not, I think he should have lost his license because he was beating animals and cause one to die, He gave one puppy PTSD and causing it to urinate on the exam table, ya, I definatly think he should have lost his license.
Do i think the veternarian should recive a more severe punishment, I think he should, because they are suppost to help animals and if he was beating animals then he should lose his veternarian license and i dont think he should be able to get it back.
