Like most of you already know, Amy Winehouse died on July 23rd at age 27. Although people have been guessing it was from alcohol, since she has struggled with drugs & alcohol for years, it hadn't been confirmed.
Now it is, though! The level in Amy's blood put her more than five times over the legal drunk-driving limit. When she was found, there were empty vodka bottles everywhere in her bedroom, a huge indicator of the cause.
So, did her death + the cause come as a surprise to you or did you see it coming? This also isn't the first death of a celeb, alcohol being the cause. What do you think about that?

Wow this is very sad. I think with that much alcohol in her system is shows that she wasn't just drinking for fun, but because she had a problem. Which also makes me wonder, could it have been prevented?
It wasnt a shock, cuz if you have a drinking problem and dont get help ur most likely going to die but she had to find out the hard way. It is also a typical celeb story besides the drugs involved.

I think it's sad she'd do that. Even if it wasn't on purpose. I can't say I saw it coming but I guess I might've guessed she'd die from something like that. Still really sad.
Wow, that is so sad. Why would you want to drink yourself to death. Even if she had a lot of personal problems. I don't get how someone could do that to themselves.
Well i just think that that is really sad that she had to die that way. What is the point in drinking so much in the first place? I guess i don't know if she had personal problems, but whatever it was that made her decide to drink was the wrong choice.
That is too bad that she did that to her ownself. She should have been more responsible. It is said that she died from her own doing.

Geesh that is a lot over the limit. I wonder if she was drinking because of problems or just drinking to have fun?
