The FBI director recently announced that around twelve American citizens are fighting for ISIS. The FBI director also said that one of the Americans is coming back from Syria and said he is leaving ISIS but they are still keeping a close eye on him.
Why do you think Americans would want to fight for ISIS?

I think its because they finally want to be somebody or be apart of something. They have put up with a lot of corruption.
I think Americans would fight for ISIS because they are fed up with living it a corrupt lie of a world that is the USA. ISIS would be a huge transition of living, and that's why I think someone would come back.
ISIS has probably brain washed these people into think that what ISIS is doing is right.
They probably have had troubles with the government, so they feel like they need to join a group so they can rebel against us.
Because they don't agree with Obama and other things the government does
Because some get pursued into joining ISIS through social media etc.
Because they want to be a part of something, making an impact in some way, a "bedroom radical"
Because they get talked into it. ISIS is all over social media. They try to convince people what there doing is right and some people fall for it
