Amazon is now one of the most well known companies in the world now. It mainly focuses on e-commerce, or online shopping and the shipping of items sold. On Amazon’s online shopping website, you can purchase anything from clothes, phones, medicine, and even groceries. Amazon also does online streaming with Amazon Prime Video. The company is fairly new, only being founded in 1994, and it has been growing larger and larger ever since. It may have had humble beginnings, but now the company makes billions of dollars every year.
Everyone can agree that Amazon’s success is astounding, and with the coronavirus, more and more people are shopping online to avoid possible contamination while shopping in person. With more people at home in these times, more people are using Prime Video to spend their time. Many people are very happy that Amazon offers a wide array of products and services, but it is concerning to others. Some people think that Amazon is growing too big, and could monopolize many of their services. The extensive growth and success of Amazon could lead to many smaller companies to become obsolete due to Amazon.

With there website is very easy to use and versitile. They are a huge threat to other websites and businesses as they grow more. There growth will continue as more people use there website everyday and they will always be expanding. A postive of them being such a big business is how many employees they have.
I think that Amazon is a very great, big, and successful company. However, it has put out many small businesses, its even beating Walmart. I think it will continue to grow because its sometimes cheaper than going to a local store or business.

I think that amazon is a great company and that it's not getting to big for the time being. They almost always have everything you could possibly need and they give you options of when your order will show up. I don't think amazon is getting to big. I think it is a very helpful and convienent. It also has fast delivery which is another reason why amazon is advancing more than other businesses. I think that it was a very innovative idea at the time that really paid off for the founder, however, it is flawed. Because it's such easy access, it really has taken business away from other companies. Also, every now and then, I hear these giant things that go on behind the scenes of the company, and it can be kind of freaky to me. With the amount of money the company has rolling it's scary because they have such a huge title, status, and profit, that they could do a number of things to mess up the economy or even the country if they went to far. For the most part they seem pretty straight forward, it's just something that if it was put in the wrong hands, could screw up a lot.
Amazon is a great service and I don't think that they can grow TOO big. Also when you buy something from amazon a lot of the money spent goes toward the company that made the product. Amazon has also helped plenty of other small businesses, so I think Amazon is not a huge threat to other companies.
