Recently Amazon has started a private trial of its drone delivery program. Since using a drone in the United States is illegal, Amazon has an arrangement with the British government to test the drones. As of now they are only making daytime deliveries in suitable conditions. Also they will deliver in 30 minutes with no additional expenses.
1. Do you think that this is a good way to deliver items, why or why not?
2. Would you trust amazon to deliver your items by drone, why or why not?
My Opinion:
1. I think that your stuff would be delivered much faster and it would be cool. Also It would be a bad idea, because your items could be damaged and someone might be able to hack into them.
2. I wouldn't want my items delivered by a drone, because the program is still in the beginning stages and the package could be dropped or damaged. Also someone could maybe hack into the drone and spy on people.

yes because what if i need that item that day to help me with something and its just nice to be able to get it sooner
yes and no because it would be fast but it would be scary to see it happen what if it where to crash
No, because robots are unreliable. Technology has its ups and downs. What if the drone exploded in mid air with someones package or it crashed. No, I would not trust amazon with drones because I do not want my stuff damaged.
I do feel like its fast and efficient. I think I would trust it, if the package didn't get delivered, I'm sure they would give a refund or resend the product.
I think it is a good idea but I do not know if I would trust having my items delivered yet.
it might be fast but there is also too much risks to it that i wouldn't trust it. i would rather get my stuff later and safe than faster and not safe. i am someone that worries a lot and this doesn't seem to be the best idea since slice bread so it will have to be a no for me now. if they show that they are safe and work and have been tested farther then i might have an open mind about it.
On certain items I feel like this would be good. It's more high tech and advanced. I feel like there should be a choice weather it should be shipped or droned.
I like the idea by delivering the items by drones. As long as the package is right and not damage then yes I would trust Amazon.
I am a little nervous with using this for delivering packages because of what would happen if there is a malfunction. The package could be delivered to the wrong house or it is dropped and is damaged. There really has to he a lot of safety features to make sure nothing goes wrong.
Yes, It could be a good idea, because you can get your stuff faster and it would be cooler than having it shipped by U.P.S. Also the only problem with using drones for shipping items would be a malfunction with the drone or it could damage your items.
No I wouldn't because a hacker could hack the drone and your package would be gone.
One of the best features of drone delivery is that it’s faster than other delivery methods. I think that it is a good idea, but I’m not sure that we are quite ready for an advancement like this.
I probably would not be very confident in the safety of this form of delivery. I would allow it, but if anything went wrong I would not ignore it or blow it off.
I also didn't think that drone use was illegal, but I assume that's referring to companies using drones for delivery purposes.
