Amazon launched a new logo in January of 2021. The new logo has only one modification to it. With the brown background and the signature arrow smile, the tape was changed. The logo was a piece of ripped tape stuck to a clipboard. Now, it resembles a folded piece of tape.
Why was it changed? It’s crazy to think one person threw the idea around that the torn tape looked like a dictator's mustache. Some think the old logo tape looked like Hitler’s mustache. I, personally, don’t see how it looks like him, but that’s my opinion. Others say not only does the tape look like his mustache, but the arrow smile compliments the mustache. Leading forward, the old logo is a resemblance to Hitler’s lower face.
I don’t see the issue. I think someone said this and tried to make others think this. I can see his face when his photo is next to the logo. However, without a photo beside it I can’t see his face. Some people stopped purchasing items off amazon because of this specific reason. I will continue to buy their products. Others argue they won’t be able to remember the logo. One had said her parents struggle finding the app on their phones because of the logo switch. Last week, I searched up amazon on my phone to purchase items. I didn’t notice until 3 months had gone by. Personally, I don’t think it will cause trouble finding.
I don’t think the old logo was an issue. However, with the media making a huge fuss about it; I agree with the change. The tape and arrow smile don’t look like Hitler. I doubt that was their intention. I will continue to use this company and won’t criticize them. I understand the issue but don’t agree with it. Our world blows situations out of proportion.

I don't think it looked like hitler at all but I understand how some people could look at it that way but ive personally never took the time to look at it close enough. I don't think they did this intentional or to be funny I think that people just focus to much on the little details and make things worse. Yes I will continue to purchase things off of amazon.
I believe it's quite a stretch saying that the amazon logo represents Hitler. Why must someone be offended by everything? Especially as small as this? I don't think that this was intentional or meant to offend anyone. Amazon is so widely used and if it did represent Hitler, it would have much less use and much more negative publicity, if any.
I have never heard about this or even noticed this change. As a frequent amazon shopper, I never even noticed that they changed to logo (the tape part) I noticed that the logo went from the shopping cart to this but I never noticed the tape. I definitely don't think that this was intentional otherwise I'm sure it would have been stopped before the logo ever got released. I also don't really think it looks like Hitler. Yes, I will continue to purchase from amazon.
I don't see why anyone wouldn't want to shop at amazon anymore. In my opinion, this is a crazy story. I hope amazon doesn't get much hate for this. I also hope that customers keep purchasing from this company. They have been so generous and appreciative to my family.
I don't see how people could think that's a hitler sign. It doesn't resemble him at all in my eyes. If I would've just took a glance at the sign, I would've never had the thought of Hitler. Also amazon wasn't intending on it looking like him.
I personally think everyone can see his face, because it was put into our heads. When someone says doesn't this picture look like a face? Many will see the face structure. The words are put into our heads, so we think that. Again, I believe this is just a dumb rumor that was spread around.
I mean, now that you mention it, it does to a degree. I would have never seen that, though. I think it's just the side of the box showing some of the tape. I don't think it was intentional at all and they were just basing it off their own side of box and how the tape is cut when sealing those boxes. I will continue to purchase from amazon. They have a lot of things I need and enjoy, so it wouldn't be very beneficial to me to not buy from there.
Amazon has lots of items that I love. Not only that, but they have groceries there as well. The items I purchase at amazon are far more important than some silly rumor that was spread around the world. I agree; I will continue to use this company to purchase my products as well.
I can see how people think it might be a Hitler design, but I don't think it was intentional. I think if anything it had to have been a mistake, because their is almost no way anyone would do this on purpose. I will continue to buy products from Amazon, as I don't think this is a big deal and if it becomes one Amazon can easily change it.
