As you probably know, the 10th anniversary of 9/11/01 is coming up, and in honor of the day I thought I would share some amazing stories.Though many people were unlucky enough to have passed away, some narrowly escaped death. For example, Greer Epstein took a break just in time to be saved, She never took breaks, but for some odd reason took one that day. For that reason, she lived. To read more about Greer and other amazing survivors please visit: http://m.cnn.com/primary/_kodCqp-i1j8bmnVgLu#page2

She is lucky that she took her break right then and that she took it on that particular day. That's so wierd. I can't believe that it's going to be the 10th anniversary though.
I cannot believe this is going to be the 10th anniversary. I don't really remember a whole lot about that day but I remember watching the news with my mom and she was explaining what had happened. It was such a sad day, and a day that no one will forget. It is so weird how you don't do anything, and then you decide to do it and it saves your life. These stories remind me of the t.v. show 9/11 Heroes of the 88th floor? Has anyone seen it?
Man she is very fortunate she lived through that day. I still remember I was in kindergarden when it happened and all of the teachers were going in and out to watch it on tv in the lounge.
Sometimes you just have that gut instinct to do something. I bet that Greer was happy that she decided to take a break. Some days you just need to get out of the office and up and moving. I bet that the break was worth their life to them and to their family.
I found a story about Sujo John. He was working on the 81st floor of the World Trade Center, Tower 1 when there was a loud explosion. It took him an hour to get down the ground floor. His pregnant wife, Mary was working in the other tower. Amazing they both survived the 9/11 attack.
