ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Gone Wrong

A Kentucky firefighter has now died from the ice bucket challenge, weeks after participating in it. He had been electrocuted from a power line that shocked him and four other firefighters on a ladder as they were spraying a group of college students. Capt. Tony Grider 41 years old died Saturday from being electrocuted that had led to burnt related injuries. I think its horrible that this happened and no one would of ever expected It.

Did you ever think the ALS ice bucket challenge would've ever led to something like this?

Do you think it is getting out of hand?

  • Good but be sure to stay away from yes and no questions. Also, be sure to hyperlink correctly.

  • I would have never thought that the ALS ice bucket challenge would go that far, although many things have gone wrong while people have done it. I don't think that it is necessarily getting out of hand, I think people just need to be smart about how they are doing it and now where and where not to do it at.

    • It never should've went that far. I agree they do need to be a little smarter about something as simple as this.

  • I would never have expected the ALS ice bucket challenge to lead to the death and injuries of 5 firefighters. I do kinda think it is getting out of hand but the whole purpose is to raise awareness for ALS.

    • I never thought it would lead to death either? Just one of those things that happens.

  • i never  thought that would ever but i believe it is getting out of hand because people aren't thinking enough of the risks they take when doing (like shock from how cold it is).

    • I don't think its getting out of hand just people need to be more careful because accidents happen.

  • No, I honestly didn't think that would ever happen, doing something for a good cause, that turns into a bad cause. I dont think it's getting out of hand, but they need to use precautions when doing the ice bucket challenge.

    • I agree they do need to use more precaution because this should've never happened.

  • Maybe they shouldn't be going way over-bored with it. Honestly people get way out of hand with these things and try to exceed some sort of goal they set for themselves and usually end up with a bad result. People need to just calm down.
