A 13 year old girl from Atlantic isn't able to go to school because her middle school has a seasonal mold (from leaves and grass and such) which causes her to have allergy related migraines. Shyann DeFrees is an 8th grader and they say they believe it happens in the Middle School because it is the only building in the school district that isn't air conditioned. It isn't a type of mold that is harmful to most people, only if you have a serious allergy to it. Her principal has come up with a solution; she does all of her classes via Skype from the elementary school library and has an instant messaging system set up with all of her teachers. Shyann will only have to do this for her 8th grade year until she moves into the High School building.How weird would it be to not be able to go to your classrooms with your classmates? doing it over skype would be hard. what if the network went down for the day? no class for shyann, and it wouldn't be her fault. i think its pretty unfair and that they need to do something about the mold as soon as possible, its not something to brag about.
That would lucky in a way, but not really because we all hate school but you need to be able to learn and have fun with your friends at school. I would hate that!
Its really weird that the middle school doesn't have air conditioning! I think that thats kinda cool that her teachers and principal are soo coorapitive to her problem and willing to help her out.
That is crazy! It was kinda of suck though. I would feel felt out and not really part of the school. And also I dint think i would recieve a good education at that way
That is like so weird. I would hate to not be able to go to school. As much as i hate going to school, i wouldn't want to learn it at home by myself. And it would suck not seeing my friends as much.

awhh that poor girl! but at the same time kinda wish i had that so i could just not go to school some days.
