James Junior Minter, 26, Shot three people in a church in Alabama. Minter was at church with his girlfriend and his one month old baby. During church Minter opened fire, he shot his girlfriend in the shoulder and jaw, the baby was shot in the hand. The pastor was shot in the leg while grabbing minter to try to stop him. Then other members of the church got the gun from Minter and minter then ran out of the church. Minter's girlfriend, son, and the pastor were all taken to hospitals. The shooter was also found and arrested.
I don't understand why anyone would shot somebody especially in a church. If I were there I think I would have also tried to stop this man from shooting any more, and possibly killing somebody.
Why do you think this man shot these people in that church? What brought him to doing that? What would you have done if you were at that church when that shooting a cured? Would you have tried to stop this man from shooting any longer?

I have know idea why this man would do such a thing here. I would be very scared if something like this happened and i don't think i would try to stop the shooter if this occurred*.
When I really think about it, I personally think that I would definently try stopping this man. Also trying to get everyone to safety if I could do that to, but really I think that whoever it is they should just pray. I can see, ya maybe he would be an athiest.
I can not see why anybody could shoot anybody on purpose, especially if it's your girlfriend/boyfriend, or even worse, your own child! I would like to think that I would be brave enough to try and stop the man, but, honestly, I think I would probably try to get myself and everyone else out of the church as fast as possible.
He was probably an atheist or he was against the Bible. I would have stopped him from shooting anyone else. A lot less blood to clean up.
I have no idea why he shot them, we might not know ever. I would have gotten everyone I could out of the church. I'm not sure if I would have successfully tried to stop, but I would try.
Ya I think he is a little crazy, why would you shoot your girlfriend and your baby boy, in a church? I hope he is able to find Christ and repent. He must have some health issues of some sort, maybe he should be check out. I am glad the men in that church were brave enough to attack him and get the gun from him to stop any more harm from happening.
I think he is crazy and needs to seek help. If he had a girlfriend that he truly loved and wanted to be with, there should be no reason to kill her or to even have those kind of thoughts. Also, with a 1 month old baby, that is terrible. Especially to do this act in a church is also very terrible. Hopefully he will find Jesus sometime in his life and he will have a lot of reconciliation to be attending.
I think that maybe didn't have the best of health and that's why he shot them. He could have been doing drugs or maybe have been suffering from something. I would have been scared for my life and not know what to do. I don't think that I would have tried to stop him because I could have gotten shot myself.
