Airstrike on Ukraine

Putin, meanwhile, sent a massage to the spokesman Dmitry Peskov that he would stop the war against the country "immediately" if Kiev agrees to couple conditions. Russia would end its "special operation" if Ukraine ceased its military actions, if it amended its constitution to enshrine neutrality in it, if it recognized Crimea as Russian territory and the "people's republics" of Donetsk and Luhansk as independent states.

A third round of talks between Ukrainian and Russian representatives failed to make much progress, according to initial reports. Ukrainian negotiator Mychailo Podolyak says in a video that there has been some minor progress on logistics for the evacuation of civilians. However, he said, no agreement has been reached that will lead to a significant improvement in the overall situation. Talks on a cease-fire should continue. Both sides reaffirmed the intention to create humanitarian corridors in the contested areas.

Ukrainian authorities reported the recapture of the city of Khuhuiv in the northeast of the country. The Russian army, meanwhile, was attempting to advance further on Kiev and encircle the capital. Ukrainian rescue services reported 13 deaths  in Makhiv,  after an airstrike on a bread factory. Russian troops advanced on the airport of the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv, according to local authorities. However, Ukrainian troops subsequently recaptured the airport, according to the information.

In my opinion they should find some compromises wich benefits both sides otherwise I think Putin will never end the war.

What do you think, what he is doing next?

Do you think Putin will send more air strikes?

  • Finn,

This story needs to be more in your words. While I couldn't find direct plagiarism, it just doesn't appear to be summarized by a high school student. I am not looking for article summaries anyway. I want more of your thoughts and opinions on the matter. Also be sure to reply back a few more times as well. -10 one day late

  • I personally believe that he will continue to send air strikes into Ukraine. If he was willing to go this far in the invasion then he will not stop now. Since Russia's economy is so terrible right now Putin has no choice but to continue because his pride is too strong.

  • I dont think he will back away from them because he is a lot stonger and just way more power then them. And i think eventualy there needs to be a stop beacuse this could get out of hand very very fast into a lot of other countries

  • I don't think Putin is going to back down without getting something out of this war. He has lost several tanks and combat vehicles, and dropped bombs and shot missles that are not cheap to make. Russia's economy is also terrible. I think Putin knows this, and relizes there is no point in ending the war now without getting something out of it.

    • yes but he also takes a risk with continuing the war like when he misses and a bomb is exploding in NATOs area there will be  world war

  • I agree I don't think that putin is going to go away from this and that eventually there needs to be a stop to what he has been doing. I think that eventually this will get a lot worse and then other countries are gonna stand up and end this because of all the things that Russia has done.

  • I think that Putin is not going to back off. I think that Putin refuses to lose and right now he is going to do the most damagae he can before he loses. I am not sure what Putin is planning next and it is kind of hard to predict what his next move will be.

  • As much as Putin says he is not trying to push the war his actions say otherwise. I think he will keep doing these things until he gets what he wants. Unless something happens that benefits Putin this will keep happening.

  • I think Putin is really trying to get something out of all of this, and that he will just keep on striking until he gets what it is he wants. Unless something happens soon, I believe that the Ukrainian authorities won't have a choice, but to just surrender to Russia.

  • Putin is showing a difference face on the media. He says how he disencourages the war meanwhile he and his actions are the thing that started thiw war.
