Afghan releases 65 terriost from prison despite US warnings.

Afghans president Karzai allows the release of 65 known terrorists to go free from prison last Thursday. So far 500 terrorists have been released by the afghan government. Many of the prisoners of the 65 have DNA links to bombs that have killed and wounded US and Afghan soldiers. Many of them when captured and brought in had explosive materials found on them and explosive residue on the clothes. Afghan president says this will help the country come back to peace. US and NATO officials warn president Karzai that they will more than likely return to making bombs and kill afghan troops.

I don't think any terrorists should be released. I personally think they should be put to death for the awful things they have done. But at the same time I don't think our government should be too involved in other countries affairs because when things go wrong other governments cant blame US.

What are your guys thoughts on this. Do you think this will help the afghan people?

    I agree with you, I think they should not be released and pay for what they have done.

    It  seems like it wouldn't work. I think it wont work is because they will most likely go back to bombing like the article says.

    I don't know how this will help Afghanistan will become more peaceful with terrorists free. I don't think any terrorists should be set free.

    This is a dumb mistake by the Afghan government. I would bet money that all of these terrorist will go back to there ways and blow something up within the first year.

    I think the this was a very bad idea. There is now just more terrorists on the lose that can attack people. I don't understand why they would do this? Maybe over population of jails?

      You would think if they had a overpopulation in their prison they would release the more petty criminal's like thieves and drug dealers.
