Becoming a high schooler isn't really easy as most people think. When coming out of middle from being the big dogs to going straight back down to the totem pole is very scary for a freshman. I was in their shoes walking into high school, it wasn't easy. I would say that when you are doing your classes you would want to do as many classes as possible your freshman, sophomore, and junior year. So then, that way your senior year can be easy for you unless you're taking college classes, and you can have a lot of open campus time.
High School is way less strict than middle school, but don't think you get freedom as in like you can do whatever you want in school. The same rules still apply in highschool, but it is a little less strict. Open campus is something you can get when you're a senior and to some juniors. It will depend on your grades and how you do well with your classes. Juniors can only have open campus in the 4th quarter and seniors get it all year around if you have a study hall. Also, you have to have good conduct to have open campus too as well. Make sure to get your homework done too because word of advice to you underclassmen, if you at least do your homework you will pass your classes.
When they say your 4 years go by fast, they aren't kidding! It does go by fast like when I was a freshman I thought this would be forever till I graduate, but now it seemed like my 4 years went by like a blink of an eye. That's crazy! I would also say make sure you get enough credits for college classes in highschool as you can because it's free in highschool. Then your college credits can transfer over and you would already have them! As for thinking of college, usually you want to start preparing yourself for college in your junior year of high school. That's if you choose to go to college, which I highly recommend.
How do you underclassmen feel about highschool?
Whats the biggest thing you would say you would want to prepare for coming and going out of higschool?

I feel like these past two years have gone by fast and I know my next two will go by even faster. As my sophomore year ends and junior year is approaching, I'm already starting to think about different colleges I will want to apply to and what I need to do in order to reach those requirements. I think that the biggest thing I want to prepare for is college because that has become one of my main priorities for the future.
I definitely think that my first two years of highschool have gone by very quickly. Altough I am not mad about that right now, it could make me sad when I am a senior. I for sure want to make sure I am prepared for college and definitely know what I want to do for a career.
I feel like high school can be super overwhelming for incoming freshmen. I would say that you should figure out what way of learning works best for you. You should also start to understand time management because things can get very busy. Balancing homework and activities can be a lot at first.
I feel that highschool is stressful for a lot of people it is hard to make friends and you are also becoming an adult. Even though highschool is stressful I still enjoy it and try hard to get good grades.
High school is stressful and a lot of work. I try to do my best to get good grades to better myself so I can enjoy senior year. I also try to soak in the little moments in certain classes I enjoy and with teachers I appreciate. I want to prepare myself with a fun college experience by really working hard now to go to a good school.
I think that it is very hard coming in as a freshman since you're basically "Fresh Meat" and you should listen to upperclassman. But when I was a freshman and was ordered around, I didn't want to do any of it, but you should do it anyways to earn some respect. If I could go back and change what I did, I would take more notes to get better grades.
I think high school has been fun I made some good friends I had my douts because I was homeschooled for so long but it's been fun.
Good summary and topic so +5. You didn't reply to any student comments which is worth 30 points.
I feel that high school has been tough but the new people you get to interact with make it a lot better
Definitely just know that people have their own opinions and make it the best you can
Highschool is a lot better than middle school because of freedom, sports, class options, etc. I am not a big fan of school so I can't wait until I am done, and I can get out into the work force. However, by the time I am a senior I am sure I will also think how fast it really went.
