In Seattle a 65-year-old man enters a Shell gas station and tells the man at the cash register "I'm robbing you, sir". The robber explains to the man he needs the money for bills and to feed his children. The robber apoligized for what he was doing and said that he would pay it back someday if he got out of poverty. The man was arrested because the entire robbery was caught on tape. I think this is pretty crazy! What a polite robber. What do you think? Read the whole story here.

  • If you are going to rob something why be nice about it?
  • he was probably just saying that so he could get the money without getting in trouble.
  • haha. I agree. He was nice enough to let them know what was going on. What a nice guy.
  • Thats really wierd that he was so polite about it... but a man so polite a robber doesnt see how that happens.
  • um yeah wow.. that was pretty stupid.. idk what to say. its just that the guy needed money and he felt really bad about taking it, but his priorites come first i guess.
  • the store clerk" sorry sir but im going to have to turn you in, its nothing personal but..."
  • he probly just really didnt wanna do it but had to and he felt that atleast he could be polite about it..it makes sense to me ha. :)
  • omgsh im suprised he would be that polite! most robbers would put a gun 2 your head and scream give me the money! lol i think he should get something for being polite.. its not like he was totally threatening the guy he used manners c'mon.
  • wow i think the guy is dumb because people who take things don't really say that, they just take the things and get out of there.
