A ghost ship had washed up on shore

On the hull of one wooden  boat the Authorities had found eight skeletons on the shore of Miyazwa beach on the northwest of Japan,  Even though some of these body's on board have not been confirmed they have signs suggesting that they are from North Korea. This boat had been found drifting off shore on Friday November, 24th.

Questions:

1. In that situation what would have gone through your head if you would have found that boat.

2. Why do you think that those people had taken a huge risk to get to Japan.

3. How do you think they died

My opinion

I think that those people had taken a break for it because their life had sucked. they must have been really poor and had nothing to loose. I just think they had died from rather starvation or lack of water.

  • 1). Contact authorities, keep calm. It's better not to freak out if you have found a boat like that instead of taking matters into your own hands somehow.

2). North Korea is an absolutely horrible place with starvation, a totalitarian government and other things that make it a dangerous place to live. Knowing that they do not let their own citizens exit their county and if they wanted out that bad, they took the risk for all or nothing.

3). Lack of food, lack of water, possibly having no idea where they were.

  • I would wonder what happened and how they ended up on the coast of Japan. They probably wanted to got o Japan to get away from North Korea, but died along the way, possibly from starvation.

  • I would just be wondering what happened to the people and the boat. I'm not really sure why they really wanted to go to Japan. It's hard to tell how they died but there could be a number of reasons.

  • If they saw the bodies belong to North Koreans they possibly tried fleeing the country for a better life. They probably didn't like living under Kim Jong-un's rule and wanted a better life. I think they died because they didn't know their ways through the waters and died of starvation.

  • I would probably be very upset but also sad because these people obviously lost their lives. I guess that they wanted to escape from North Korea to have a better life and to live in a free country. I don't know how they died but your ideas sound pretty accurate.
