In Barron County, Wisconsin Jayme Closs's parents were shot and killed then Jayme went missing moments after. Jayme is a 13 year old that is very shy, outgoing, and loves to dance according to her teachers. Monday night a neighbor heard two gun shoots seconds between each other. Authorities had recived a 911 call around 1 am and they don't know who placed the call. When they arivied to the home within 4 minutes there were no movements or other people on the scene at that time. Police had recived over 400 tips and all have and have not confirmed any credible sightings of Jayme. Although the sherriffs still believe she is alive.
If this happened in your community how would you be feeling?
I would be very scared and also worried. Means the police don't really know what happened and there aren't very many clues I would be in a lot of shock.
Do you think the shooter had taken the girl or if she left herself?
I think there is a chance that there was a shooter that came into the home and shot the parents. After shooting the parents I believe he may have taken Jayme and left.

I would be worried about the saftey of the the people in the are and be in shock that all of this could happen
I think either the shooter kidnapped the girl or she could have ran off an escaped and is to scared to come back
I also agree with being worried about the safety of others in our area. I would hope that local police and others would come up with a plan to help stop this from happening again. I would very much be in shock as well. I agree with her running away after maybe finding her parents and just being scared to come back home because of the thought of her life being taken like her parents.
If this happened in this community, I would be scared that it would happen to another family or even my family because the criminal wasn't caught. Also, I think that the shooter took the girl after shooting the parents because they didn't want to be found out.
I agree with you being worried about it happening to another family or your own family if it happend in our community. I also agree that the shooter may have taken Jayme because he didn't get caught. I also think Jayme could have planned the shooter to come and shoot the parents and then have Jayme run away.
I'd definitely be on guard for it to happen again, since you can never be too careful. I'd also be sad for the family who it happened to and I'd be scared as well because it could happen again. I think it could have gone both ways- the shooter could have either shot the parents so they could take the girl, or they could have planned the whole thing. Maybe the girl planned for the shooter to come in and shoot the parents so she could run away either alone or with the shooter (which is unlikely, but you never know)
I agree with you I think I would be on the look out constantly if something like this happend around us. Just because they ripped one family apart does not mean they can strike and take down another family. I also think the shooter and Jayme could have planned this to happen but you just never know with no evidence.
I would be very afraid knowing something horrible has happened and it keeps getting worse until this girl is brought back home or found. I think the killer took the girl because why would she run away, and if she did why wouldnt she go to any family members or friends near by. I think te girl stayed there too long and she got taken by the killer.
I agree with you. I would be very afriad if this happened in my community too because with two deaths and a missing girl it makes you wonder what actually happened. I think the killer could have ran away with the girl I don't think she would have just ran away unless she committed the crime which we don't know yet because no new information has been released.
I would be very scared. I would be aware of my surroundings. I would be very scared to go outside by myself. Although we live in a small town, this could happen to anybody. I feel like the shooter took Jayme because more then likely she probably wouldv'e called somebody to tell them that she is okay. Or gone to the police office to get help.
