7 year old Megan Winters, was at her grandparents house Dec., 30, 2013 when she fell in a well. Megan said "I was sitting on a ledge of the well and I went to go stand up, I slipped and fell." She tried to stick her arms out to stop her, but she couldn't hold on. As soon as she fell, her cousins went and told her grandmother who immediately dialed 911. "When she got quite is what scared me the most," McCollum said. For more than an hour, she hung upside down in the well until first responders could think of a plan to get her out. Megan was then airlifted to Atlanta's Children's Hospital where she went under many hours of surgery from her broken legs, a broken arm, and fractures to the face and brain. She spent nearly a month in the hospital relearning how to do things.
It's sad what happened to her. I would feel really bad if that happened on my land, but it's great to know that she is getting better over time. What would you do if this was your child? What would happen if you were the little girl?

If that was my child I would do everything I could to help her starting with praying, then let the doctors do the rest, if I was the little girl then when I was conscious I would be praying and then let the doctors do the rest I would probably be pretty freak during the fall
I think that the doctors have a lot to do. She may be visiting them more in her life than expected.
If it were my child I would be scared to death, I am just glad that this kid is alright and hope that she completely recovers.
It will be a tough recovery since she has to relearn what she already knew. The best thing that everyone could do if pray for the little girl and we kind of have to see how things go from here.
that is so scary! good thing her cousins were there to go for help otherwise her grandmother wouldn't of known and it could have turned out way worse
She should be lucky that her cousins were there to go get them. I think they get some credit of saving her because without them, she could have not made it out.
Scary!! If I was the little girl, I would be so scared. I've never broken a bone I would be freaking out. I've never heard of a girl actually falling down a well.
I haven't heard of someone falling down a well period unless it was an animal. I think it would be scary to cause I haven't broken any bones either.
I would be really sacred if I was the child and went through this experience. Being stuck in a well, which is probably very dark and having pain from what you injured when you fell would be just horrible. I am glad that the girl is recovering so far.
