Cult leader Charles Manson Died in prison Sunday due to natural causes. Charles Manson was the leader of a vicious and brutal cult, who terrorized Los angles in the late nineteen sixties. He his the only serial killer to not have killed anyone. He would have his followers do the killings. His followers killed seven people in the hopes of starting a race war, and him becoming the king of the world after the war. He was caught in 1970 and put on trial for the murders. He was found guilty and sentenced to death but it never came due to a short ban of the death penalty in California. He was given nine life sentences instead. But most of his followers where let of due insanity.
1. Do you think he should have been given the death penalty
2. Do you think that his followers should have been punished for there role in the murders
1. Yes i do think he should have gotten the death penalty he did not do any of the killing but he set it all up and told them to do it
2. Yes they should have been punished because they still killed people insane or not they deserved punishment.

-10 late but otherwise good. You could have expanded a bit more on your personal thoughts.
Yes Because sometimes people can peer pressure people into things and its not right, it puts people in a state of mind that makes them feel lonely. Yes because you give into peer pressure and sometimes you do and dont know what your doing but that doesnt make it right.
1. Yes, this guy was crazy. Someone who has done stuff so bad they get nine life sentences means that he should've been put to death. Starting a race war and causing death to become king of the Earth?
2. Yes, since they carried out Manson's orders they should be punished as well. I looked at the article too and I agree that Manson's followers were definitely vicious and brutal.
Yes this man defiantly insane and deserved it but unfortunately he never got it
the followers were still acting on there own free will and that is cause for punishment
