6 catholic schools could close

The Omaha Archdiocese says that they dont have enough money to fund schools anymore. The schools that they are closing are Holy Name, All Saints, Holy Ghost, Saint Joan of Arc, Saints Peter and Paul and Saint Stanislaus. If all of these schools close than over 500 students will have to find a new school.

  • What I don't get is why kids go to catholic schools till 8th grade then they have to go to a normal high school.
  • Thats terrible! That's a lot of kids that would have to find a new school! I would how the schools lost so much money? Hopefully they can stay open. If they close a lot of teachers will lose their jobs too!

  • I hope they can build stronger catholic school so the students can go their instead of being forced to go to regular schools.
