528 members of the Muslim brotherhood were sentenced to death in a Egyptian court. They were indicted on charges related to dangerous riots in the city of Minya that included the murder of a police officer. They can still appeal their sentences. Do you think that death is too harsh of a punishment? Would life in prison be more fair?

Your summary if a bit brief to tackle a complicated story such as this. You need to give more information. Also, stay away from yes/no questions.
Ya that freaking crazy just because of their part of a group that disapproves of the Egyptian government they are going to kill 500 people. they dont care about the police officer all they care about is staying in power.
I think that the people should be able to chose either life in prison or death. I don't think it should be chosen for them. I do think that death is a little harsh.
They should not be sent to death they should be put in prison for a long time, they are standing up in what they feel is right and are trying to make their lives better.
They are Islamic terrorists.
I think prison time would be better than death sentence. Unless theses people killed other people by the riot.
They should probably just convict the person or people who actually killed the cop and not the entire group.
Well I mean with death you can just get it over with but with imprisonment you have to endure the pain of living without loved ones so I think if they truly deserved to have something happen to them they would need a long time of imprisonment.
I don't think that death is a good punishment. I think that life in prison would be more fair.
I think that considering what they have done they should have been sentenced to death. They probably dont have that much room in prison.
