Five teens get charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the first degree for planning schoolmates murder. The teens would meet up before school, lunch and after school for a week. The plan didn't go through when another teenager told the police about there plan. One of the students is 18 the others are juveniles, two 17-year old girls and two 15-year old boys but they will be prosecuted as adults. One of the students brought a weapon to school but administrators found the student and weapon before the police arrived. The students targeted someone who hung out in the same group as them, one of the 5 fives ex boyfriend. the teens are being held in pima county jail.
Why do you think they would plan to kill one of there friends?

The friend could have wronged more than one person in the group, or they were getting back at the person's ex. I would be a wee bit nervous, and a little disgusted at the fast, teenagers, let alone high-school students, are letting thoughts and plans likes these invade their young prepubescent minds.
Because they were probably mad at them and these 5 kids obviously have some mental issue or something to want to kill someone. If I were a student I would want to move to a different school. I would also watch my back and try not to tick anyone off.
Because they were mad that the guy broke up with one of them. If I was a student at this school I would be scared to go back, the fact that this planning had gone on for a week at school and nobody noticed until the end, I would be terrified.
I cannot believe that any students would really want to kill their friends ... For one, it's murder, and two, it will ruin your lives and everyone's around you. If anything, this friend way have done something to them ... ? I would be extremely concerned if I went to this school!
Maybe they did this because they are holding a grudge against them for something, it could be anything.
They must not of been a real friend if they wanted to kill them. If I was a student at this school i would probably be scared and i would not like those students.
How could you kill a friend? Even if that person was an ex you should never ever thinking about harming them. One thing that I don't understand is why did all five kids want to murder that person. If I was another student at that school I would be afraid that they might think about doing something like this to me. I would think of everything I had ever done wrong to them.
I don't have any idea why they would want to kill there friend. I wouldn't even think about that?.
I have absolutely no idea, but this is sick. It's nearly as bad as those two 12-year-olds who tried to murder their friend in cold blood over an internet myth.
I would probably be a little concerned about the mental stability of those around me.
