Most schools have snow days when there is too much snow on the ground or when the temperatures are too cold to go outside. Many schools have troubles with these situations. One reason is that forecasts can be wrong or inaccurate. The forecast could say up to 10 inches and we only get 2. That is considered a day wasted from school making school days go later in the year. The other reason is that parents don’t like them either. It can cut down on vacation days after the school year again from school going later from make-up days. You also don’t learn as much as you could from these missed days. Closing school can also be costly. The schools have to pay for snow clean up, and they still have to pay taxes no matter what. Lastly, some kids of the school could go hungry not getting the meal from school.
Would you rather go to school or not on cold/snowy days? Why?
What if schools would let people still come for lunch and for schooling if able. Would you go? Why?

I like going to school when it snows out because I am inside so it doesn't really matter. The only reason I would want to go to school is to learn something.
I would rather go to school on cold days but it depends on how much snow is on the ground because it is a waist not to go to school on cold days because the school year just goes on longer. I wouldn't go to school just for lunch I would got to actually learn something even if its not much.
I would rather go to school on a snowy day because I'm going to be inside anyways, besides I don't want to be inside during summer. If I was able I would go I wouldn't come for the school lunch, but for the schooling.
The summer is meant for anything but school, so i would rather just go during the winter. i would try to go to school.

Obviously nobody would want to go and I would not go anyway because I have to walk home and it would be way to cold.
