3-year-old a hero?

One day after father of three-year-old Alesaundra collapsed after mixing up his medication, Alesaundra knew exactly what to do. She ran to the fire station telling the firefighters her dad was "frozen" and wouldn't get up. After walking the men back to her house, they knew right away Alesaundra's dad needed medical attention and fast. They say if it wasn't for her, her dad would of most likely been dead. The parents say daily they would drive by the fire station and tell the 3-year-old that firefighters are her friends and they will always be there when you need help. So, how important is it to tell a child, even at a young age, who can help you and who are your friends? It's very important.

  • Amazing. That's one smart kid, and her dad's a lucky man. It's good to know that children can identify when something is wrong.
