In London, there have been three women that were held as slaves for 30 years. Police say they have suffered from physical abuse, in the form of beatings. The man and woman that held them in their house were arrested on Thursday. Police say the women might have been brainwashed in a way, so that they wouldn't leave the house. They have "invisible handcuffs".

It is crazy that these women have been able to survive for 30 years being slaves. I am glad that they finally have made it out, and I hope that they can find help to maybe remove these "invisible handcuffs".
I think they had to stay there or the people would do something terrible to them. This world is turning out into the worst thing ever! All I hear now a days is stories like this and it is sad and terrible. I hope the 3 women are ok, and the couple gets the same abuse put back on them so they know how they made the other girls feel.
I hope that the three women are able to have normal lives and that the people who held them are put in jail for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately I think that there are many more cases like this, but it is hard to know how many there really are, because the people that are holding them are not going to just tell everyone what they did.
I think that escaping after 30 years is really lucky. If you have been missing that long there must not have been a good chance at finding them.

I think more and more of these cases are coming out and it makes you wonder how they don't get away over 30 years. I don't think they were brainwashed because how would they get out no if they couldn't ever before
This is terrible. I hope the women involved are ok and are given the help they need. The couple holding them need to be sent to jail for the rest of their lives.
This is really sad and I hate to think that it did happen because it is sad, I think I would try to fight just to get free and that had to be how these woman escaped by fighting back. I don't know for sure if there are more cases like this but I hope there isn't.
I think that it is crazy that they survived for that many years and never escaped! I'm sure they could have been somewhat brainwashed, otherwise I would think they would be trying to escape on a daily bases.
