A plane carrying three people crashed Sunday Evening at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The crash killed everyone on the plane. The plane took off at the airport when it experienced an unkown issue causing it to crash into cars parked in the parking lot at the airport. The only people injured were the ones on the plane. No one on the ground was injured. At least 15 cars were damaged. Despite the crash, the airport remained fully operational. The parking lot where the plane crashed remains closed and around 75-100 cars are not allowed to be accessed.

I've never rode in an airplane, but I don't necessarily think it would be scary. After reading this, I haven't really changed my mind. The chances of that to happen again are most likely slim. I think the airport did the right thing and didn't close. That planes issue shouldn't effect anyone else's flight.
I like traveling and I never have been really scared of flying. I do agree that this does raise some concerns about flying, but this really hasn't changed my mind on flying. I bet a lot of people were scared seeing it, and maybe they should have increased security, but I think it would have been a really bad inconvenience for those trying to make it to a flight.
I was already scared of flying but now it makes me more nervous. I think the airport should have crashed because I am sure people were still concerned but people who had already bought a ticket and needed to get on their flight is probably good they didn't close down.
I've flown a lot so I'm not easily spooked by plane crashes but every story I hear adds a tiny amount of suspicion and fear of planes and flying to me. It was a minor crash so I don't think the airport would have closed entirely. Maybe delays and minor complication could happen.
I felt fine flying in a plane before I heard this story and I still feel fine flying after I have read it. I don't think the airport should have closed after the crash because that would make them lose money and it would cause people to miss another connecting flight. Plus, one crash can't shut down an international airport. The only things that could do that would be an EMP, a mass plane crash filled with a lot of people, or a terrorist threat/attack.
I would still feel very comfortable flying in planes because a plane crash is a very odd occurrence. I would still feel safe with a skilled pilot in any plane that is safe enough to fly. If it doesn't affect how they work and do their job then I don't think they need to close. If it really effected the airport then they should have closed but as long as they can function they should stay open.
I would still feel comfortable riding in a plane it is still one of the safest ways to travel. They would still have to stay open for the other people flying in and out of the airport.
I still feel comfortable riding in an airplane, these types of things are out of the ordinary, but I think they probably should've closed down for a little bit after this accident happened.
I think I will still fly on planes because there is so many plane accidents that happen and so many that don't, you just never know when something is going to happen. I think they should've made sure all the planes were safe before they sent anymore planes out.
