One thing americans have had to ask themselves in the past couple of year is "should the 2nd Amendment change?" some people may even ask if it should be taken away. well in order to determine an opninon of anything we have to under stand it so here lies the google definition of the 2nd amendment. "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." so now that we understand that the second amendment gives americans the right to bear arms/own guns. Could that be dangerous?
Well, of course that can be dangerous anyone with a gun can be dangerous. So does this mean we should take it away. Due to a study in 2019 on https://www.statista.com/ it said that over 10 million people were arrested in 2019 in the U.S.A. So what stopped them from breaking the law... absolutely nothing! So if we take away the 2nd amendment are we just taking away the rights for law abiding citizens to defend themselves?
Well in conlusion I think its obvious to see what side of the fence im on but I want you to make a discision on what side your on. explain any different opinions in the comments.

No, I do not think that the 2nd ammendment should be changed or taken away at all. I do think that we could have stronger laws on guns, such as better background checks. It is not the "guns fault" that it killed someone, the only thing at fault is the person that killed someone.
The 2nd amendment should not change anymore than they already have and should definitely should not be taken away. Taking away guns gives the gobernment too much power over the people. If you think of the worst country leaders, they all took away the publics right to own a gun like Kim Jong Un and Adolf Hitler. And we all know that they have too much power.
I don't think the 2nd amendment should chnage because thats the way the constitution has it written. The 2nd amendment protects it people and without that people would be defenseless. I do think that people need to be smarter with their guns though.
I don't think the 2nd amendment should change but in my opinion it should be more difficult for people to purchase guns, there should be more background checks and maybe more sensibilization on the responsibility that comes from owning firearms since they can be very dangerous if used in the wrong way.
I don't think that the second amendment should change. I do think that things could be a little differnet. I think we could make getting some parts harder so that people won't build their own as easy. I don't think that we should take it away either. People should be able to defend themselves or have fun if that's what they like.
I believe that our gun laws are perfect but there can be some tweaking on the fact of who can and can't buy a firearm. If you relate America to places like Australia that have way way stricter gun laws it's different. Were not like Asutralia so how could it work for us?
I don't believe the way the 2nd amendment is written and worded needs to be changed; however, our application and understanding of the amendment should be adjusted. As a society, we currently believe the 2nd amendment protects our rights as individuals to own guns for our own protection. As stated above, the 2nd amendment grants the rights to own guns in order to form militia and protect the security of a free state. Guns were not intended to be owned for the protection of the individual, but the protection of our democracy.
I believe, the ammendment could change to wear it's only the responsible citizens that are allowed to bear arms. I don't think they should take away the amendment, but adding onto the amendment wouldn't be an awful idea.
No, I do not think the second amendment should change at all. I agree that we should be doing background checks and things like that. No, I do not think it should be taken away. I think it should remain the same. Guns do not kill people. If guns killed people, spoons make people fat.
The second amendment should not be changed ever. It is one of the most important amendments ever put into law. The people that think buying a gun is a very simple fast prosess they probably have never bought a gun before. If you have anything that shows up on your backround check they wont sell you the gun. People kill people guns dont kill people.
