Story:
On Saturday September 21, a shooting was reported at the Ole Skool Sports Bar and Grill in Lancaster, South Carolina. It was said that at least one person opened fire inside the bar. This resulted in the death of two people and the injury of eight people. The shooting occurred at 2:45 am. Authorities have said that they do not know the reason for the shooting, and they are trying to find out more. Lancaster County sheriffs have been saying “the shooter or shooters are still out there.” They have not found the suspects and want everyone in the county to keep their eyes open. One of the victims was injured from falling in the bar. Every other victim was injured from the shooting.

1.) What would your reaction if something like this happened to you?
Well, I know at first I would be very confused. I don't really think that I would have that much time to react. I would first try to get myself and others to safety. I would also want to avoid the shooter as much as possible. Once everything was over and safe, I would make sure that everyone was okay and go from there.
2.) Do you think that they will find the shooter/shooters?
I think that this is almost bound to happen. Nowadays, it is almost impossible to get away with something like this, unless you leave the country. Yes, I think that these people will be caught and will be put in jail for life. I think when they catch them, they are going to try to make up excuses, but they have a lot of witnesses from the bar.

What do you think everyone will say for your first question? Your second question is a yes/no question that just doesn't require any thought and is just guessing.
Well I have a very slow reaction time so I would also be very confused and I wouldn't know what was happening. My first reaction would probably duck and get the people I'm with and other around me out of the bar. I think that our law enforcement can track just about anybody with todays technology that they would not be able to get away with this.
I 100% agree with you. I would also be very confused. I would also want to get myself and all my other friends out of there. I would also want to make sure that everyone was okay and safe. I also do believe that we have enough technology to catch the shooters.
If I was there and heard gunshots, I would probably be confused at first, because there are several things that sound similar to gunshots. I think they will find the shooter, because there were several people in the bar who had to have seen their face, and most people have phones with cameras who could have been able to take a picture of the shooter or their car.
Yes, I agree. Bars are pretty loud and it would be really easy to get confused. I think that I would also be confused at first, but I would try to figure out things as fast as possible. I also agree with the fact that there were witnesses. I think that this will allow the cops to catch the shooters.
If this ever happened to me i would either hide so i dont get shot or even seen. If he was close enough to me i would try my best to take him down or throw something like a chair at him so it could atleast distract him or hurt him enough so he cant shoot anyone else. It would be scary knowing that someone has a gun and if it comes my direction i could never live again.
My first reaction would be to get down and low, out of sight. then find out were the shooter is at and try to either avoid or see if i could try to take the shooter out. also making sure that every one else is safe to
Yes, I agree. I would also want to get out of sight as fast as possible, but I would also want to make sure that my friends and family were safe. I think that they have a really good chance at finding the shooters. I believe that they have enough witnesses to catch the shooters.
At first I would probably be confused, and mad, but then I would try to get myself and others to safety. I think they will find the shooters very quickly. People who do these type of things want to be caught and recognized in most instances, they take satisfaction out of it almost.
If I was in this situation I would be very scared because my life would be in danger and I would want to protect myself from something happening to me. I would try to find a spot to find in the bar, like in the bathroom or a closet. I hope that they do find the shooter(s) because they need to be locked up for hurting people and killing two.
