Two people have died after storms hit the Eastern United States. These storms hit eastern United States aproximately Thursday. Retired Priest John Thomas Connery was swept away in the current. George Walker the second victim of the storm died as a tree fell onto his car during the storm. More than twenty record low temperatures were set monday. I think that these storms may indicate the servarity of the winter storms to come.

iI think that they might because of rising tempatures that can cause more evapuration thus leading to more rain then more storms. I think that were getting way more rain then in previous years and that ponds lakes and even ocean sides are over flowing and more flooding could happen from hurricanes as well.
I dont think that global warming has anything to do with the bad storms that have been happening because storms have happened forever and they are going to continue happening because its nature and it does what it wants. I think that the flooding is happening because the ground is already wet and it cant soak up new rainfall.
On my oipinion that does not have anything in common with global warmin or colding. Its just nature. People act as its the first time that such happen, but its happens every year one cant do anything. I dont believe that earth is getting warm, I think its marketing method to make us scared. Floods happen every year and during erath history they happened often then rarely and then often and then rarely and so on...
These storms could possibly have no direct correlation to global warming but it has been shown that storms have gotten worse often meaning that this storm could be related. As the weather gets worse it is very likely that there will be more flooding more often than in prior years as the rainy weather begins to become more common.
I agree with you I am also unsure of what all this rain is from. Sometimes, I think that it just might be a rainy year, but at other times I wonder if it could be from something like global warming. I would also get used to weather changes because you just never know.
Storms have been around for a long time,since the earth was made but I'm sure that global warming has an increase in the storm making it stonger. I think flooding is happending more becuase of global warming and all the ice melting plus all of the rain we are getting.
Yes, I agree that storms have been around for a very long time and you could even argue that this year is just a rainy year, but it could also be changing because of global warming and other factors. The melting of the ice could have something to do with all the rain we are getting too.
I think storms have been around for as long as earth has had a stable climate. I'm sure global warming probably increased the severity of the storm, but definitely a normal part of everyday life is a storm. I think flooding is happening more often from global warming. There's no denying that part.
