Issac and Sage cook, who are brothers, were missing since August 29th after being kidnapped by their biological mother. Apparently David Cook and Faye Ku divorced each other and the two boys remained living with their father ever since. Before the kids went missing, they lived in Bellevue, Washington. They had went to visit their biological mother down in Lakewood, California and that's when their mother took the children down to Mexico. She left all her personal possessions and crossed the border from San Diego, California to Tijuana, Mexico. She even left a letter at her home saying to leave the boys alone. Authorities found the trio in a safe location and both boys are returning to Washington to reunite with their father. Faye Ku has been deported from Mexico and is now in custody. She faces charges of international parental kidnapping.

My Opinion: I think Faye kidnapped her children due the fact that she didn't think is was fine to have the boys live with their father. She wanted to keep the boys to herself. I would ask my mother where are we going. I wouldn't do much other than stay quiet and stay with my brother. If I was David, it would be a complete nightmare knowing your children were gone. It's such a big world out there and you don't know what kind of trouble they could get in.

I believe Faye kidnapped her children because she missed them. Mother's have a special connection with their children because they are the one's who give birth to them. Also, Faye was probably upset and jealous of the two boys' father because he gets to see the kids daily while she is lonely. Although I understand why Faye kidnapped her two children, I do not think it was right. And she definitely could have found another way to see her boys.
She probably kidnapped them because they are her actual kids and she must want them in her life. If I were one of the boys, I would call for help if I didn't want to be with her. But I guess if the boys did want to, then don't call for help. If I were David, I would feel terrible not responsible enough.
I agree with you on how it would be a nightmare because it is and can be a scary place out there especially with not knowing where your children are. I also think that Faye just wanted her kids and with being the mother she probably thought she had more of a right to take them.
I think that she was upset with the way that the boys were living. She didn't like that her children were with their father more then with her. I would be afraid that my mother is absolutely crazy. I would probably try to leave her and with my brother and do whatever it took to get back with my father. I would very afraid if I didn't know where my children were or if they were safe.
She was probably jealous of how the boys were living with their father and that they didn't get to see each other very often. If I were kidnapped I would try to escape even if it was my own mother. That is a crazy thing to do and to live under the radar for about 7 months i don't think I cold handle that. I would be incredibly worried and I would do all that I could to get them back.
If I were David, I would be so scared! I think that certain parents have sole custody for certain reasons. I would have been terrified and I don't really know how I would react, but I would probably be a mess.
I'm not for sure how I would act because I'm not for sure their relationship with their mother. By the sounds of it, I don't think they really minded because your Mom is your Mom and they were probably just happy to see her.
I think that she thought she was doing the right thing or did it for selfish reasons. I do not think by any standard she did what was right, I think she could have even been a little crazy! i
I think that Faye kidnapped the kids because they're Faye's kids too. I would have ran off as a kid because that was kidnapping. I would be really stressed out as David because it doesn't sound like a good situation to be in.
