On Thursday March 26 a restaurant in Manhattan's East Village exploded to a gas related accident. This explosion caused three buildings to collapse and damaged four other buildings. Crews began searching and on Sunday March 29 found two bodies in the rubble. The bodies have not been identified yet and crews believe there are no more bodies left to recover. In August of last year the gas lines to the restaurant were shut off because it was believed they had been tampered with. The restaurant owner smelt the gas but did not call 911. Also 30 minutes before the explosion gas inspector left the premises saying everything was fine.

Good but all your replies were done on the same day.
I believe it could have been the tampered gas lines, or something that was planned, or some crazy course of numerous events that joined in with the gas to cause the explosion! I don't believe it was a terrorist attack, but I cannot disprove of one either. There is nothing that points to terrorism, but it's always a possibility.
I dont think this was a terrorist attack but its is kinda sketchy that a gas inspector left saying everything was ok and then 30 minutes later it explodes.
I think it was maybe due to tampering gas lines. Because it is not likely for something like this to just happen so it would I assume maybe have something to do with the gas lines being messed with. I do not think it was a terrorist attack, I think it would be more known and out there if it was a terrorist attack.
I agree. An explosion this big isn't usually on accident. I also think it isn't really a terrorist attack because no group has taken credit
I don't think it was a terrorist attack, because most terrorists like to paint their names all over their work. They want you to KNOW it was them. This incident was most likely related to the case from August.
I was thinking basically the same thing. All terrorist groups want their name out there. I think they need to find out who and why they tampered with the gas lines last August
There is a possibility that it could have been due to that and i guess it could be one if they find out that thats the case
If there was tampering last year then yes I do think that the lines were messed with again to redo the job that wasn't done before. I think that it might have been a terrorist attack but if it is then we will eventually know because they usually claim their destruction.
I'm pretty sure that what you said is right and that the terrorist groups almost always claim there name.
