Commercial fishermen off the coast of Mexico managed to reel in a 19.8 ft, 2,000 lb Great White shark. Assuming the measurements are accurate, it will be one of the longest sharks ever discovered.
Unfortunately, during its capture it was killed, but still allowed for accurate measurement.

Thats a big shark! How could you manage to reel one of those in?
How could anyone reel in a 2,000 pound shark? Even if it was dead. That's still crazy! I would feel pretty excited if i was the dude who reeled it in.
Wow this is very interesting. Sharks are terrifying but yet cool. This will make scientist wonder how they get to such a stature. They will now look at its diet and genes and see why it is so big
That's huge! I bet that would be really cool to see. It was probably realy hard to catch.
Wow that is huge. I would like to see that shark in person. I didn't know a shark could get that big. I wonder how they caught it and got it reeled in. I wouldn't want the job of being by it when they get it in the boat. To bad it was killed maybe they could of put it in a zoo or something so people could see and they learn more about it.
That is huge! i can't imagine being close to one of those
I couldn't even imagine catching that big of a "sea monster". I saw this story on the news too and saw that they had to have another boat come and pull them in. I'm ecstatic for that village and the fisherman who a real tale to tell about their fishing adventure.
2000 pound test line hahaha thats like 2inch thick rope lol. this is something you would see in a movie like jaws and 20 feet is pretty long that is 7 feet more than the deep end at the pool thats alot
Wow i love sharks and the jaws movies that thing must have been quite the predator the oceans critters are probably glad niot to have it.
That shark is unbelievable! I wonder what they would have done with it if it didn't die, I don't think there are many places where you could keep a 19.8 ft, 2,000 lb Great White Shark.
