In 1982 the first Poltergeist movie came out. It was the most successful out of the Poltergeist Film Trilogy. It's an all American Horror film about a normal family whose house becomes invaded by ghosts. These ghosts aren't the friendly type either! They abduct the youngest daughter of the family!
