17 Female Alabama Students Choose to be Paddled Instead Of Suspended.

A I was leaving to go to the mall today, something interesting came on the Radio. It said that at a Prom in Alabama, 18 girls wore dresses that were too revealing and violated their dress code. One girl choose suspension, while the other 17 choose paddling.

I think this is totally weird, what do you think about this?

Well...as weird as that sounds, I can understand both sides. Of course you wouldn't want to be suspened, it looks bad on your record and you miss a lot accademically. However, being paddled is degrading and, well, painfil. In that situation, I don't know what I'd choose.

wow thats crazy haha. I personally would rather be paddeled than to be suspensed. But thats just me.

I know at my old school you could either get paddled or get iss or suspened but the prinicible could only do it if your parent signed a piece of paper at the first part of the school year saying that the school could paddle you.

if that is to revealing then everyone should get suspended at our school.. what were they thinking???
