15 Year Old Expelled

A school in Michgan went into lockdown mode. Why? Well a kid brought a toy gun to school, and then was later told he was expelledfor it. Friends of the kid said it wasn't real it was a joke. Well it was a joke that he should never of done.

Personally I think they are doing the right thing here. They are trying to teach to people not to bring guns or mess around with them. They want you to be safe at school instead of a school shooting. What are your thoughts?

there's a difference between having a toy gun in ur bag and actually pulling it out and pointing it at friends even if it is a joke

Well i think it is the right thing to do by punishing the kid because everyone knows you're not supposed to bring guns to the school but i'm not sure that expelling the kid is the right thing to do i think that maybe just suspending him would have been a good enough punishment.

Even though the gun was fake, the school made the right decision. You shouldn't joke about something like that. Not when things like that have actually happened.

I think it is good that this kid got punished. He shouldn't joke about something that serious, and he should have know better than to pull a stupid stunt like that.

Yes, this kid should have been expelled. In today's world why would you even think about doing something like that. The school took the appropriate action and it is the child's fault.

i think it is the right thing to do because some kid could think it is a reel gun and they woud want to bring one to and things could get out of controll.

That was not right of the kid to bring the gun to school even if it was a toy one as a joke. It wouldn't be funny at all if it would of been a real one

I don't think that it was right. It was a toy gun not a real one. Sure he shouldn't of brought it to school in the first place, but being expelled? Thats a little over the top. If they wanted to punish him they could of just given him a detention.

The kid chould be expelled for it, well duh it was a joke. but really you'd have to know someone would think its real.
