34 year old Will Smith, a former NFL player, was shot and killed Saturday night. He was a former saints defensive end. The police booked 28 year old Cardell Hayes for second degree murder and is currently being questioned about the horrific scene. The investigation is on going A couple hours before the shooting, Smith posted on Twitter about how he was having a fantastic time in New Orleans. Will was shot after his car collided with Cardell's hummer near Magazine Street which led to Will's car hitting another vehicle. Cardell and Smith confronted each other and that led to the shots being fired. Will's wife was also shot twice in the leg. Will's team has sent out their condolences to Will and his family.

My opinion: I don't why he was so mad because he was the one who caused the accident. I think the confrontation led to his behavior. I would obviously he mad if I were the vehicle ahead of Will, but I would try to calm down both of the men. I would send a card and pay my respects to him and his family by going to the funeral.

He was not the happiest about the crash and if it was me I wouldnt be that mad I would just stay calm and calm my insurance then go talk to the other people. I would attend his funeral and show my respect towards the family
I think he lost his temper and just wasn't thinking straight. If I had as much money as they do, then I would have just called the insurances and not been that mad. I would play harder for him every game.
He was really mad about the accident and most likely said something wrong, and I would be a little mad but I would get out and work things out with the guy, and go to his funeral and show your support towards the family.
I think that he was mad about the accident and that they both were probably not very nice to each other which caused shots to be fired. If i was the one in the vehicle I would have asked for there information and talked it out, and if I was a teammate I would honor him by going to his funeral and supporting his family.
I think this person has mental problems due to the fact that he randomly shot someone dead. I would go to the funeral and pay my respects of course.
I think maybe the confrontation had something to do with the murder rather than mental problems. I'm sure that both of them were all up in each others faces swearing at each other which led to the homicide.
I think he just has something wrong with him. He got angry when Will confronted him and he shot him for some reason. I would go to the vehicle behind me and ask them if they had insurance, if they could pay for the damage. I would make sure he received a great funeral service.
I don't if I would get involved regardless if my car was rear-ended. Obviously, it seems like they had a violent confrontation with each other. I'd rather just call 911 and stay out of the fray.
I think that he has to have some underlying mental problem because no one mentally stable would react the way he did. If I were hit from behind in a vehicle I would be very upset but obviously would take precautions not wanting something like this to happen to me. I would go to his funeral if I were his teammate and give my reverences to him and his family.
