I don't think I'd be able to tolerate many of those things if I was a babysitter. And yeah, I guess you're not allowed to voice your opinion very much if you still want to get payed. Sometimes its just best to be quiet and deal with it.

Some of these i would agree with definetely! Obviously you cant tell the parents or you would get fired!

A lot of those things are soooo true! It's kind of intimidation to babysit. Just because you know Parents will ask the kids if they like you. So you have to make them happy, while still being strict.

Those are so true. when i babysit i usually go by there rules but i am not going to argue about it with them. i am afraid they wont call me again.

hmm.. interesting. if i was a babysitter i would be quite plain and just say things like asking for a raise.
