Leanne Chapman can home to a very large, frightening surprise on Thursday in Australia when she noticed a 10 foot python curled around her christmas tree. Well, not right away. Upon first aproaching the front porch, Leanne and her partner first noticed a couple Butcher birds freaking out on their porch. Not knowing the reason, Leanne's partner pulled out his cellphone and began recording the birds... leaning against the tree in the process. It didn't take long before he realized he was not just leaning on a tree. The couple jumped away from the giant snake in surprise, but ultimately decided to leave it alone, allowing it to later slither away after wishing them a brief "Merry ChrHISSSSStmas".
I guess that's just how those Australian's role. "Oh, 10 foot python? Again? Ah, it'll wander off eventually, just like that foot long spider we found in the shower last week..."
Forget the kangaroos, I'm never moving to Australia.

What would you do if you came home to a scene like this?
- Probably be very, very, freaked out at first, but as long as it is eventually removed from my house, I wouldn't be too worried. I actually kinda like snakes... as long as they don't strangle me in my sleep, but you know, its fine... And maybe there is a plus side to this! If you have a house cat, this'll keep them from scaling the tree...
Would you ever consider living in Australia with crazy animals like foot long spiders and 10 foot snakes?
Imma pass, but thanks.

If I saw this snake on my tree, I would be startled, but ultimately wouldn't be too scared of it. From the story, it seemed like a pretty docile snake that just saw a cozy tree that he wanted to curl up in. If it didn't leave on its own, I would probably call animal control to help me safely get it out of my house and back into the wild. I would consider visiting Australia, but probably would live in it because of the spiders.
I would definately be freaked out. I would like to say that I would stay calm, but I know that wouldn't be true. No, I wouldn't want to live in Australia mainly because I am not a fan of spiders or snakes. This artile didn't make Australia seem that fun anyway, so I would also have to pass.
I would probably be scared but I would try not to react. I would not react because I would know that eventually the snake would go away. I would not ever consider living in Austrailia. I think it would be cool but not worth the trouble of exotic animals and insects.
I agree with you I would be very scared and I would get out of there as fast as I could. I would then call animal control to come get the snake. Also I would never live in Austrailia where there are animals like this. I would possible go there for a short vaction but I would never live there.
I would be freaked out but then I would grab a shotgun and shoot the crap out of it. I definitely would most certainly not, under any circumstances, ever move to Australia. I also hate the hot weather down there its a perfect environment for scorpions and spides.
I agree with you that moving to Australia is definitely not a good idea at all, especially since it's a very good place for many dangerous animals and insects to live.
I would be terrified, and freaking out. I would leave my house and call for help to get the snake out as soon as possible. I wouldn't go near my house unless I knew the snake is out for sure, and I would still be a little scared to go back in my house even if it was gone. I would just have a feeling were I still felt it in the house. I would never live in Australia with animals like this.

I would find it very funny so I would laugh at first then I would call animal control to get it out of my house. I don't think it would be that big of a deal unless something happened to aggravate the snake and I would not mind having it in my house honestly. I wouldn't mind living in Australia seeing as after a while you would get used to situations like this and I quite enjoy large animals.
If I came home to someting like that in my house I would probably be afrade, not only of it but how did it get in and has it eaten my cat. I would be calling the dnr or whoever to come get this thing out cause I know i'm not going to be trying. And I know Australia is an interesting place to live but I don't think I would live there. Maybe just visit. I have an aunt that live's there I could stay with her, I don't need to live there.
