Donald Trump finally admits to being wrong about Barack Obama is a US born citizen. Trump claimed that Obama was not born in the US 5 years ago. Trump is pulling a full reversal and is now admitting that Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961. Trump unhooked his "mistake" during the unveiling of a new hotel. The issue is not likely to die down anytime soon due to Trump and Hillary's back and forth fire. Clinton is now insisting that Trump apologize for his stubbornness and attempting to discredit Obama. Trump had no apologies for Obama but it seemed to not bug the president at all. Obama said jokingly "I was pretty confident about where I was born".
Do you think Trump should apologize or do you think it is unneeded?
Was it right for Obama to make a comment like he did? Do you think it will have a negative effect on Trump's campaign?
I think Trump should apologize to Obama for sure. I think it would make Trump look more honest and help him in his race. Although I think Trump was wrong, I do not think Obama was in the wrong for making his little comment. It shouldn't effect Trump at all if he apologizes to Obama.

Good story choice! I do think you could have commented to more students however.
It is not that big of a deal if he doesn't it would probably help his campaign tho. Yes he had the right to make the comment he did and yes it possible could have a negative effect.
I think that he should apologize because that was the president of the United States he was questioning.
I think that it was perfectly fine for Obama to say that, it's not like he can't joke around or anything. I don't it will affect him that much if he apologizes, but I doubt he will apologize.
I think that he should apologize to be respectful but it is not really needed and it isn't going to bring him down in the long run. I dont think it was a bad thing for Obama to make this comment.
I think it would respectful for Trump to apologize to President Obama but it is not something that is needed and if he doesn't I don't think it will help or hurt him. I think Obama's joking comment creates a little fire on Trump so I think it was ok for Obama to say that but it might have some impact on democratic voters that are going back and forth between Trump and Hilary.
I think an apology is unneeded because he can think what ever he wants and Obama doesn't deserve an apology because it was a questionable think and I think Trump has the right to question it. Obama can say what he wants because it doesn't affect anyone at all. He knows where he was born, he was questioned on it, and he proved he was right.
I think Trump should apologize to Obama for trying to make him look bad. I wonder if Trump realizes that if he apologizes, it may make him look like a not as terrible human being. I think it was totally fine for Obama to make the comment that he did. He was sticking up for himself and not letting others walk over him. I don't think that his comment will effect Trump's campaign.
It's really hard to say. Should he apologize? Maybe. Will he ever apology? No. But that's just the person he is. I think that in a sense his remark was right. Now as the president of the United States, he probably shouldn't have used sarcasm because its not a very professional way to handle it.
I think so. If your making a statement about someone else it should be accurate, so i think he should apologize. I think Obama's reply was fine and didn't over react which was the right thing to do
I think that he should apologize because then it shows maturity and respect. It was not right because it is mean and immature. I think it will have a negative effect because now people might start to wonder what else he is lying about and they will wonder if he will be trustworthy enough.
