Is it true that your phone is listening to you? Did you notice that you get advertisements from products you didn’t even google but you were talking about with the person next to you. How do you think that’s possible? Could it be the phone listening to you? Creepy right.
I did some research and it is actually true that our phone listens to our conversations. The information our phone gets from our conversations is used to create advertisements. So imagine you were talking to your friend about this new purse from Coach. The next day you're on your phone and an advertisement pops up from Coach about the same purse you were talking about yesterday. How does this happen you ask? Well when the phone hears this information they inform the companies so they can put advertisements on your phone to persuade you into buying. That is only one method that your phone uses to create advertisements. Your phone also uses your apps to steal information from you for advertising. Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, etc are all apps that your phone can get info from. The phone reads your messages and finds out what you're interested in. You may be worried now, but don’t be because our phones aren’t actually allowed to spy on you. Our phones need our permission to listen and to read our information and messages. We just don’t pay attention to our apps and we skip right through the part when it asks for our permission. In my opinion I think this is creepy. Just imagine what your phone knows and is telling strangers.
What do you think about it?
Are you scared? Do you want to protect yourself more now?

Nice comment. I understand all you wrote, and agree. It is just kinda annoying that your phones listens to you and you cant be sure you are 100 percent alone. But I think the world is going more and more like that.
I think it's creepy, I'll start talking about something i want or need and then it later pops up as a ad on my phone. I dont think its much to worry about. I also dont think our phones our listening to us every conversation we have. it's not cary in my opinion.
I think that our devices are listening to me because sometimes when I talk about things a get an ad about it. I think it is scary that our phones are listening. To "protective" ourselves in my family, we don't use our google home anymore and some of us have our Siri turned off.
Its weird because ill say something that i wanna look at on my phone then later ill have an ad fot it on my phone about it. It dosn't scare me to much though, It hasn't done me any harm.
Yes maybe it just comes slow. So people dont get scared and are like even they know that the phones listens to us. They dont care and might bad people can use that for their will.
It doesn't really scare me that my phone is listening to me it just makes me feel weird and that I have to watch what I say around it. Honestly the whole phone listening to you thing is not the biggest deal in the world.
I think to think about it it is kind of weird because you dont really know what your phones knows about you. It might be that people they have those information can use that against you anytime.
I think that our phones know more about us than ourselves honestly. I think though however, if apps would put anywhere from 1/2 to 1 1/2 pages insted of lets say 5 plus pages about all the legal things your're allowing that people might actually read it and know whats actually happening. I personally aren't all that scared because I could care less if my phone advertises something I said or looked up.
I dont think our phones know more about ourselves than we do. I think people are too much interested in their phones and spend too much time with it. And that what I think people use to get to know more about us. Even it is just to sell us products. If it is right it is a good question. Maybe it is not scary or people dont care but is it right?
I wouldn't say it's scary it's just rather creepy more than anything. I for sure believe that our phones are listening to us. That is because I have simply sometimes just metioned something and then later on ad pops up for the thing that I needed. Personally I don't think phones record every conversation I believe they just look for key words. Like I need, I want, etc.
